You feel old, don’t you? Houston Rockets rookie Jabari Smith Jr. teases Lebron James

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been part of the NBA for a long time now and the legend was reminded of the same on Monday. Houston Rockets rookie Jabari Smith Jr. made an interesting revelation to James during an NBA game against the Houston Rockets.

The 19-year-old reminded James that he had made his debut against his father, who was playing for Sacramento King in 2003.  

“Hey, you played against my dad. Your first NBA game ever” Smith told James.

“Really?” responded James.

“Sacramento,” confirmed Smith Jr.

“Why’d you do that to me?” James asked with a smile.

“You feel old, don’t you?” Smith jokingly said.

Meanwhile, LeBron admitted that he ‘did feel old when junior told me that.’ “I think he even said it like, ‘You probably feel old.’ However, the 38-year-old is

playing is 20th NBA season but averaging better than the time he made his debut. He’s averaging 29.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7 assists per game. All three of those figures are better than James’ rookie season averages, when he squared off against Smith’s father.
