WTC Final 2023: ‘Virat Kohli wakes up different when it is against Australia’ says Ravi Shastri

Former Indian  head coach Ravi Shastri feels Virat Kohli will wake up different when the match will be against Australia. Ahead of the World Test Championship at The Oval, Ex-head coach said;

“Virat Kohli will wake up differently if the match is against Australia, he smells the coffee much earlier if its Australia. So, it he gets going, gets 20, then he will have some fun.” The 34-yer-old has registered impressed track record against Australia as the right-handed batter has scored 1979 runs at an average of 48.26. Kohli has scored 8 hundred against Australia, as well.

India vs Australia Rivalry:

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has said that Men in Blue are not being taken lightly as the rivalry between India and Australia has turned into respect.

“There used to be tense environment. But after we won 2 series in Australia, the rivalry has turned in respect. We can’t be taken lightly as a Test team. We can see the respect the oppositions have for us. They expect us to give a close fight even in their conditions. We cant be taken lightly anymore,” Virat Kohli told Star Sports from London.
