World Cup: ICC Unveils Mascot Duo For ODI World Cup 2023

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Saturday unveiled it’s mascots for the upcoming World Cup 2023, representing the spirit and unity of cricket.

The mascot duo were launched at an event in Gurugram, India by Inida’s U-19 Women’s and Men’s captains Shafali Varma and Yash Dhull. The characters is a symbol of gender equality and diversity.

The perpetual characters signify cricket’s universal appeal beyond cultures and boundaries with the mascots standing as beacons of unity and passion,” ICC Head of Events Chris Tetley said.

As per ICC, the mascot duo were engage with fans in person through broadcasts and on-digital platforms.

Fans will be able to purchase a variety of Crictoverse products, including exclusive mascot-themed merchandise such as sunglasses, available for sale both online and at venues.

The World Cup 2023 will start from October 5 with defending champion England taking on New Zealand at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium.
