A day Yashasvi Jaiswal hit a century on Test debut against West Indies in the first cricket Test, his father Bhupendra Jaiswal left on a Kanwar Yatra to Deoghar in Jharkhand on Friday.

Speaking with a local reporter, Yashasvi’s father said that he will offer Jalabhishek at Baba Dham (Lord Baidyanath’s temple), to seek blessing for my son.

I am leaving home with a wish that Yashasvi’s century is converted into double hundred. While offering jalabishek at Baba Dham, I will seek blesssings for my son and his hard work to yield good results and that he brings laurels for the country,” Bhupendra said.

He also informed that the entire village is elated with Yashasvi’s performance and they all want Team India to register comprehensive win.

Meanwhile Yashasvi credited his parents and thanked everyone for the constant support during tough times. Notably, Team India registered victory by an innings and 141 runs after R Ashwin ran riots in  West Indies’ second innings. Ashwin bagged 11- wickets (5 in 1st + 6 in 2nd) in the game.
