WATCH: Shah Rukh Khan Makes Surprise Announcement On Birthday, ‘Quits Smoking’

Shah Rukh Khan, who previously admitted to smoking up to 100 cigarettes a day, surprised fans on his birthday by revealing that he has quit smoking.

During a meet-and-greet event celebrating his birthday on Saturday, the beloved actor shared this significant personal milestone.

In a video shared by the fan page Shah Rukh Khan Universe, Khan expressed to an enthusiastic crowd, “There’s a good thing – I’m not smoking anymore, guys.”

He elaborated on his decision, stating that while he hoped to feel less breathless after quitting, he is still adjusting to the change.

“Mujhe laga tha ki I will not feel so breathless, but abhi bhi feel kar raha hu (I thought I wouldn’t feel breathless after quitting smoking, but I still do),” he acknowledged. Remaining optimistic, he added, “Inshallah, woh bhi theek ho jayega” (By God’s grace, that will also be fine).

On his special day, SRK received heartfelt birthday wishes from his daughter Suhana and wife Gauri Khan on social media.
