WATCH: Farmers Fly Kites To Tackle Drones Carrying Tear Gas Shells

In New Delhi, on the second day of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ protest by farmers, an innovative approach surfaced amidst the ongoing demonstrations.

Protesting farmers, primarily hailing from Punjab, took to flying kites as a countermeasure against government-employed drones dropping tear gas canisters on them.

These farmers are steadfast in their demand for a legal assurance of the minimum support price (MSP) and other agricultural reforms as they march towards Delhi. The situation escalated at the Shambhu border, near Ambala, where security personnel responded by firing tear gas shells at the protesters.

The ingenious tactic involves using the lengthy strings of kites to ensnare the rotors of the drones, potentially causing them to malfunction or crash.
