WATCH: Donald Trump Labels Kamala Harris ‘Radical Left Lunatic’ In Fiery North Carolina Rally
In his first rally since Kamala Harris secured the Democratic Party nomination for Vice President, former President Donald Trump launched a series of verbal assaults against her, branding Harris a “radical left lunatic” and accusing her of threatening to destroy the country.
Speaking to a crowd in North Carolina, Trump emphasized his determination to prevent Harris, 59, from influencing national policy, referring to her as the “ultra-liberal driving force behind every single Biden catastrophe.”
He accused Harris of supporting extreme positions on abortion, including “abortions in the eighth and ninth month of pregnancy,” and made unfounded claims about her stance on post-birth abortion.
Trump also suggested that Harris was part of a Democratic conspiracy to conceal President Joe Biden’s supposed mental unfitness, attributing Biden’s decision not to seek re-election to party bosses.
He repeatedly criticized Biden’s age, despite himself being only slightly younger, and claimed that Harris was covering for Biden’s health issues.
Earlier in the day, the White House dismissed allegations of a cover-up regarding Biden’s health, maintaining that there was no decline in his health prior to his decision to step down from the race.
Harris, now armed with Biden’s endorsement, has invigorated the Democratic base, which had been unsettled following Biden’s poor debate performance against Trump.
Trump’s remarks underscore the heightened tensions and stark contrasts between the candidates as the presidential campaign intensifies.
Harris’s candidacy has brought renewed energy to the Democratic Party, while Trump’s relentless attacks signal a contentious battle ahead as the election approaches.
