Virat Kohli comes first and leaves last: Australian pacer draws inspiration from Indian batter ahead of WTC Final

Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood has lauded former Indian skipper Virat Kohli for his incredible work ethics, grit in the field and passion towards the game. Hazlewood, who plays alongside Virat Kohli in Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore, has said that Kohli’s determination towards the game is inspirational and it motivate others in the ground.

Notably, Hazelwood left IPL 2023 mid-way in order to prepare himself for the World Test Championship final 2023. Days ahead of the marquee clash, Hazelwood has hailed the dynamic Indian batter for his work ethics.

“I think probably how hard he works that stands out. His fitness of all and then his skill work, batting and fielding in particular. He is always out there training first and leaves last…and the intensity he trains at all time is at such a high level it drags everyone else along for the ride. That can leaks on to the other players and improve them as well,” Hazelwood said.

Speaking of Virat, 34-year-old is coming off an incredible IPL season and will lot will depend on his performance in the World Test Championship final. In 14 innings, Kohli amassed 639-runs including two back-to-back centuries.

The Indian batter has also already started his preparation in London and will be hoping to help his side to lift the prestigious title.
