In an explosive letter, Twitter has accused Meta of ‘hiring former Twitter employees who had and continue to have access to Twitter’s trade secrets and other highly confidential information,’ first reported by Semafor.

Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information,” Twitter’s lawyer Alex Spiro wrote.

Quoted by India Today, Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said that no one on the Trends engineering team is a former Twitter employee.

Meanwhile, responding to a tweet citing the news, Ex-Twitter CEO Elon Musk said that ‘competition is fine, but cheating is not.’
