Test Cricket Does Miss Virat Kohli, The Captain: Eoin Morgan

Former England skipper Eoin Morgan has made a bold claim regarding Virat Kohli following India’s drubbing at the World Test Championship Final at The Oval.

The recent 209-runs defeat against Australia at the WTC Final has let many Indian cricket fans to miss Virat Kohli, the Captain.

Although, Virat Kohli, known for his charismatic brand of cricket took Team India to new heights during his tenure as a Test skipper. In a chat with The Mirror, Morgan has said that Test cricket does miss Virat Kohli, the captain.

“Test cricket for me is still unbelievable. But it is really challenging time for it. It has lost Virat Kohli as Test Captain and he always spoke vividly about how much he loved it and was passionate about it,” Morgan said.

The Englishman further drew comparison between Virat Kohli and Ben Stokes, stating latter has made the Test cricket more attractive.

“Stokes is the same, and he has taken on a huge responsibility to the game and to make it as attractive as possible,” Morgan added.
