Tablets distributed to 500 Anganwadi workers in Varanasi, to be trained for teaching pre-school students

Varanasi: With an aim to make preschool education attractive, Himanshu Nagpal, Chief Development Officer, distributed tabs to 500 Anganwadi workers in the city.

During the inaugural function of the three-day digital training programme, Mr. Nagpal informed that 500 Anganwadi workers would be trained for three months to operate these tabs.

The officer also informed that the programme of equipping the Anganwadi workers with tab Is being run under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) Vedanta Group.

After completing the training programme, Anganwadi workers will be able to impart preschool education to children up to six years old.

“These tablets are installed with preschool studies to make education interesting for the young students,” said Mr. Nagpal.

In the first batch, 25 workers will participate in the training, while 500 Anganwadi workers will complete their training in three months.
