Singham Again Trailer Released: A Star-Studded Diwali Extravaganza – WATCH

The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated trailer for Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, has been unveiled, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. Promising to be an out-and-out masala entertainer, this film is set to light up the screens this Diwali.

A Record-Setting Trailer

At 4 minutes and 58 seconds, the Singham Again trailer is now the longest trailer for any Hindi film. It was launched at a grand event at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, building excitement among fans.

Returning Heroes and New Faces

The trailer sees Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh reprise their iconic roles as Bajirao Singham, Veer Sooryavanshi, and Simmba, respectively.

The film also introduces two new characters in Shetty’s cop universe: Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty and Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya.

A Cinematic Journey Inspired by Ramayana

For the screenplay of Singham Again, Rohit Shetty draws inspiration from the Hindu epic Ramayana. The plot centers around Kareena Kapoor Khan, who plays Avni, Bajirao Singham’s wife, and is kidnapped by Arjun Kapoor, who appears fierce in his Raavan avatar.

In his mission to rescue Avni, Ajay Devgn teams up with a formidable group of allies. Deepika Padukone’s character, Lady Singham, showcases fierce strength and determination, ready to face any challenge.

Ranveer Singh returns as Inspector Sangram Bhalerao, aka ‘Simmba,’ while Akshay Kumar adds his experience as the ever-reliable Veer Sooryavanshi. Tiger Shroff shines as ACP Satya, contributing agility and bravery to the ensemble.

Pre-Release Success and Box Office Clash

Before the trailer’s release, the makers teased fans with intriguing posters, showcasing Ajay Devgn’s intense gaze, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh posing with rifles, and Deepika Padukone exuding strength as she points her gun at the enemy.

Singham Again has already made waves by earning Rs 200 crore in pre-release sales, with Rohit Shetty and Jio Studios reportedly selling the combined satellite, digital, and music rights for that amount.

Originally slated for an Independence Day release, the film will now hit theaters on Diwali, November 1, facing off at the box office with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri.
