Shahrukh Khan starrer-Jawan likley to release in August, team needs adequate time for VFX: Report

Entertainment: Days after it was announced the Shahrukh Khan-starrer Jawan has been postponed and will no longer release on June 2, fresh reports have confirmed its final date of the release.

Shahrukh Khan is having a great year at the box office as his recently released, Pathan, rescued Bollywood, which was battering with couple of consecutive failures.

Pathan is the highest grossing Hindi film of all time., with lifetime collections in the North of Rs. 512 crore, and with the kind of buzz Jawan is already creating on social media, there is little doubt over the fact that what kind of success it will bring to Shahrukh Khan and Bollywood.

Meanwhile, report published in Pinkvilla has confirmed that SRK-starrer Pathan is likely to release on either August 11 or August 25.

“Jawan is no longer releasing on June 2, 2023. The team needs some more time to complete the visuals effects of the film and they would rather come up with a product that competes with the best in the country than a substandard one,” source close to the development told Pinkvilla.

Meanwhile, reports has also hinted that June 29, and four weeks of August are being considered to release the film.

“Jawan will be an August release now, as Shah Rukh Khan and team now want to give adequate time to the VFX. August 11 and August 25 are heavily being discussed by all stakeholders at Red Chillies,” source added.
