Sacred Games, Mirzapur headline India’s most popular web series list, IMDb drops 50 names

Anurag Kashyap-directed Sacred Games has topped the chart to be the most popular Indian web series, as per IMDB. Pankaj Tripathi-starrer Mirzapur and Scam 1992 has been rated as second and third most popular web series of all time.

The IMDB list featured 50 Indian web series streaming on various platforms, and was released on June 5. Manoj Bajpayee-starrer The Family Man, Aspirants, and Criminal Justice followed the list of most popular web series.

Yaminie Patodia, Head of IMDB stated that the top two series on our list (Sacred Games and Mirzapur) celebrate their five-year anniversary. “We are excited to help chart the short but impactful history of web series in India,” she said.
