ODI World Cup: Pakistan To Visit India For World Cup 2023, Expects ‘Full Security’

Islamabad: After months of discussion and evaluating several aspects related to the upcoming ODI World Cup in India, Pakistan government has finally given a green signal to it’s team to visit India for the marquee event.

In its official statement, Pakistan’s foreign ministry has confirmed that that it will send its Cricket Team to India to participate in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Pakistan believes that the state of bilateral relations with India should not stand in the way of fulfilling it’s international sports-related obligations,” the statement read.

It also expressed it’s deep concern related to the security of it’s players and staff in India and said that ‘it expects India to endure utmost security to the team.’

The ODI World Cup will kick start from October 5 with defending champion England taking on New Zealand at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium.
