Novak Djokovic Withdraws From Toronto Masters Citing Fatigue – Details Inside

23-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has pulled out from the next month’s Toronto Masters, Canada’s ATP Masters 1000 event citing fatigue.  

What said Novak Djokovic :

I have always enjoyed my time in Canada but after speaking with my team, we believe this is the right decision to take. I would like to thank Karl Hale, the Tournament Director, for understanding this decision. I really hope I can return to Canada and Toronto in the coming years to play in front of great fans there,”

Notably, the Serbian has won Canada’s ATP Masters 1000 event four times. The last time Djokovic appeared in the tournament was in 2018. Djokovic fell short in a memorable clash against Carlos Alcaraz.

The first ATP Master 1000 event begins from August 7.
