Social Media: After the Lok Sabha secretariat on Monday restored Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s status as an Member of Parliament in the Lower House, prominent Congress leaders took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their delight on the development.

Taking to X, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said that ‘it brings relief to the people of India, and especially to Wayanad.’

“Whatever time is left of their tenure, BJP and Modi Govt should utilise that by concentrating on actual governance rather than denigrating Democracy by targeting opposition leaders,” wrote Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
