Leaving Home At 15 Was Scary: Suhana Khan

Entertainment: Suhana Khan has recently claimed that it was a cultural shock for her when she moved to UK for boarding school at the age 15.

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter is currently gearing up for her debut release Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

Notably, Suhana Khan was joined by her mother to launch Koel Purie Rinchet’s novel book – Clearly Invisible In Paris – In Mumabi. While discussing the content of the book, Suhana spoke about moving out of her house at 15 to study abroad.

While attending one of the book launch, Suhana said that it was her friendship in UK and New York that helped her and made her feel home there than the place.

“I wouldn’t call myself an immigrant and all. I went there to study. I left home when I was 15 for boarding school, so I think that was scary because it was definitely a cultural shock and I think it took me a while to feel at home,” she said.

She further admits that it was her friendsand their love that made her feel like home.

Suhana Khan to debut with The Archies

Suhana Khan will be launched in Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies along with the other debutants – Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda.
