Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility For Baba Siddique Murder
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has reportedly claimed responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, according to a viral Facebook post by a gang member.
The post alleges that the motive behind the assassination was Siddique’s alleged connections with Bollywood actor Salman Khan and underworld figures Dawood Ibrahim and Anuj Thapan.
The Mumbai Police are currently investigating the claim, though officials have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the post.
Siddique’s murder has sent shockwaves through Maharashtra’s political landscape, with speculation now intensifying about potential links between the crime and high-profile figures. Authorities are also continuing their manhunt for the third shooter involved in the assassination.
This latest development adds a new layer of intrigue to an already high-profile case, with the police expected to delve deeper into the alleged underworld connections as they probe the murder.
In a viral Facebook post, a Lawrence Bishnoi gang member claimed responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique.
The post began with “Om, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat” and stated, “I understand the essence of life, and consider wealth and the body as dust. I did only what was right, honouring the duty of friendship.”

The post further read, “Salman Khan, we did not want this war but you made our brother lose his life. Today, Baba Siddique’s decency pool is closed. At one time, he was under MCOCA with Dawood. His death was due to his links with Dawood Ibrahim and Anuj Thapan in Bollywood, politics, and property dealings.”
It added, “We have no personal enmity with anyone, but anyone aiding Salman Khan or the Dawood gang should be prepared. We never strike first. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, salute to the martyrs.”
Baba Siddique was shot dead by three men in Mumbai on Saturday. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Sunday, the Mumbai Police confirmed it was a contract killing. Two suspects, Gurmail Baljit Singh from Haryana and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested, while the third, Shiv Kumar from UP, is still on the run.
Police are now tracing the mastermind, as evidence suggests the murder was premeditated, with the accused paid in advance and weapons delivered days prior.
