Karan Johar, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR To Join Oscar’s Academy As New Members

In a significant development, Bollywood producer cum director Karan Johar, RRR-fame Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam are among the new list of invitees for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Notably, Karan is listed among the producer’s category. Meanwhile, Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose – who won RRR song Naatu Naatu – have also received invitations from the Academy.

“The Academy is proud to welcome these artists and professionals into our membership. They represent extraordinary global talent across cinematic disciplines and have made a vital impact on the arts and science of motion pictures and on movie fans worldwide,” Academy CEO Bill Kramer said.
