Joker 2: Todd Phillips Drops New Still From Joaquin Phoenix-Lady Gaga Film
Filmmaker Todd Phillips, gearing up for his upcoming film “Joker: Folie à Deux,” delighted fans on Valentine’s Day by sharing images of lead actors Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
This marks the second consecutive year Phillips has treated fans to such reveals, following last year’s first look at Lady Gaga. The new images capture intimate moments between Phoenix and Gaga, offering a glimpse into “Joker 2.”
One image features Phoenix in his Joker attire, while another shows Gaga gazing lovingly at Phoenix, their noses almost touching.
The third picture depicts the couple dancing on a terrace, with Phoenix in a tuxedo and Gaga in an elegant dress. Phillips’ caption, “Hoping your day is full of love,” ignited excitement among fans.
In “Joker: Folie à Deux,” Phoenix reprises his role as Arthur Fleck, while Gaga portrays a character inspired by Harley Quinn.
The film explores their tumultuous romantic relationship, with the title referencing a psychiatric term for a shared mental disorder. Scheduled for release on October 4, it follows the success of its predecessor, which grossed over one billion dollars worldwide and earned Phoenix an Oscar for his portrayal of the titular character.
