It will take some time: Gutted Yuzvendra Chahal on defeat vs SRH

IPL’s joint-highest wicket-taker Yuzvendra Chahal had a memorable match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday evening in Jaipur, till Sandeep Sharma made one of the biggest blunders in his short career at such a competitive stage.

Hyderabad needed six off the last delivery, with Abdul Samad at strike and Sharma, with no-so tough task considering his ability to bowl perfect yorkers. As expected, Sharma bowled a decent yorker which was pushed by Samad for a single.

Royals were delighted with much-needed win until umpires flagged no-ball. Yes, Sharma had overstepped giving yet another opportunity to Jammu and Kashmir boy, Abdul Samad, to script history.

Samad once again tried for a yorker, but Samad standing deep in the crease went for a perfect six at long-on.

The crowd could not believe what transpired in few seconds and so as Yuzvendra Chahal. The leggy had bagged four wickets in the game and anticipated easy win, but it soon turned out to be a night mare.

“It is part of the game. We will storm back together. The soon we will forget this match the better it will be for us,” Chahal told the media in the post-match press conference. He further said that it will take some time, but good things is that they are still in the play-offs race.

As per current situation, Rajasthan Royals remained in the fourth position in the points table with ten points from 11 matches. However, Royals are tied with RCB, MI, and Punjab Kings.
