India now sits in the second position on the WTC points table, with Australia leading after India’s steep dip. The team must now face critical challenges to maintain its chance at a place in the WTC final.

WTC Final Qualification Scenarios for India

For a guaranteed spot in the WTC final, India must win four of their remaining five matches, with only one draw allowed. This scenario would secure them a 67.54% PCT.

Alternatively, winning all five matches would raise their PCT to 69.29%—a necessary feat to potentially secure a spot without relying on other results, especially considering their upcoming series against the defending WTC champions in Australia.
