Ind vs WI: Virat Kohli Accuses West Indies Skipper Of Throwing ‘Bhatta,’ No Legal Action

While Virat Kohli played a crucial knock of 76-runs during first Test between India and West Indies in Dominica, he seem pretty unpleased with a bowling action of West Indies skipper.

Kohli took his time on the pitch which was relatively difficult to score runs and scored his first boundary after 81 deliveries on Day 2.

While facing one of Kraigg Brathwaite’s delivery, Kohli was heard saying ‘Bhatta fenk raha hain’ on the stump mic, questioning the legality of Brathwaite’s bowling action.

However, Kohli didn’t lodge any official complaint against the Caribbean skipper.

This is not the first time that Brathwaite’s action was in question as ICC had earlier inquired his bowling action after receiving complaints. But, ICC found nothing wrong, suggesting his action was withing the legal limits specified.

Speaking of the game, Team India registered comprehensive win by an innings and 141 runs on Day 3 of the game. Yashasvi Jaiswal (171), Rohit Sharma (103) and Virat Kohli (76) shone with the bat, while R Ashwin scripted history by scalping 11 wickets – 5 in 1st innings and 6 in 2nd innings.
