Ashwin, renowned for his effectiveness against left-handed batsmen, has remarkably conceded only 232 runs to Stokes throughout his playing career, showcasing dominance in the 25 innings they have faced each other.

Ashwin’s proficiency against left-handers extends beyond Stokes, with notable successes against David Warner (11 dismissals) and Alastair Cook (9 dismissals) in Test cricket.

Remarkably, these left-handed batsmen constitute Ashwin’s top three match-ups in Test cricket.

The veteran spinner, inching closer to the milestone of 500 Test wickets, currently stands at 495 Test scalps, underlining his consistent impact and contribution to the Indian cricket team.
