Entertainment: Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur took every one by surprise with her highly-anticipated debut at Cannes film festival on Thursday, May 18.

The Jersey actress made her first red carpet appearance in a beaded saree by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Not just the fans, but even Indian stress felt like a ‘Desi Girl’ as she herself made that confession in an Insta post.

Mrunal Thakur chose an Indian outfit for her Cannes debut

 The actress donned a custom-made beaded embroidered sareee custom made by Falguni and Shane Peacock.

“Feel like a desi girl,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Samantha Prabhu wrote, “Love.”

“I am thrilled to be attending the Cannes film festival. It’s an honor to represent Grey Goose at such a prestigious platform. I am looking forward to interact with global filmmakers, exploring new opportunities and showcasing the talent Indian cinema offers,” she told PTI.
