If you’re observing that, it’s up to you: Erik ten Hag on if Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit helped the club

Following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo parted ways with Manchester United in November 2022.

While many believed Ronaldo’s exist would hit United hard, but the reality was completely stunning. Erik Ten Hag’s side shocked everyone as they thrived on the back of seven consecutive victories, eventually securing the Carabao Cup.

Did Ronaldo’s exit changed Manchester United’s fortune for better good, seems like! But United coach Hag has his own say.

In an interview with The Times, Hag said;

If you are observing that, it’s up to you. So, what I want to see from my team is a team who are proactive, dynamic, determined. I have seen many times Manchester United with that attitude, so that’s what I like. It’s not that we are satisfied. There’s still a long way to go but we’re definitely showing this mentality.”

While Ten Hag is not directly confessing that he is happy with his performance and used a diplomatic escape, but deep down in his heart, he is a Happy Man.
