Here’s Why Bobby Deol Felt Disguested While Shooting Animal? Check Here
MUMBAI: Actor Bobby Deol, known for his recent role in ‘Animal,’ shared that he experienced moments of ‘disgust’ while filming the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed movie.
In an interview with Film Companion, Bobby Deol opened up about grappling with such feelings during the shoot but ultimately reasoned with himself, recognizing that it was simply a portrayal of a character.
He reflected, “I used to feel disgusted with myself when I started shooting for it. But then I realized I’m playing a character. Why am I feeling so disgusted, so icky? Then, I would be sitting and having dinner with the same people I had scenes with in the evening. Everything is normal.”
Discussing his character Abrar, Bobby previously described him as ‘family-oriented’ during a session at Agenda Aaj Tak.
He clarified, “I didn’t think of my character as a villain. I saw my character as a child who was traumatized when he saw his grandfather dying by suicide, so he loses his voice. He swears to avenge his grandfather’s death. He is very family-oriented.”
Apart from Bobby Deol and Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Animal’ also featured Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri in significant roles. The film hit theaters on December 1.
