Farmers Protest: Heavy Barricadding, Spikes Laid At Ghazipur Border To Stop Farmer’s March

Concrete barricades have been strategically positioned, and tire-deflating spikes have been deployed as part of heightened security measures at the Ghazipur border, in anticipation of the farmers’ ‘Delhi Chalo’ march scheduled for today.

Under the collective banner of Samyukta Kisan Morcha and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, supported by over 200 farm unions, farmers are set to converge on Delhi today to urge the central government to address various demands.

These include the implementation of legislation to ensure a minimum support price (MSP) for agricultural produce.
