After scoring a century on his Test debut, Yashasvi acknowledged the fact that it’ ‘difficult to get opportunities in the Indian team.’

21-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal had a fairytale debut at the international stage. Opening the order with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal scripted history in Dominicia by smashing Test hundred on Day 2 of the 1st Test match against West Indies.

Still unbeaten at 143, Yashasvi Jaiswal looks to play ball-by-ball and enjoys his cricket.

The left-handed batter become the third Indian opener to smash Test century on his debut game, 17th Indian batter to do so and first to achieve the mark outside Asia in 21 years.

Till the end of Day 2, Team India maintains a dominating lead of 162 with Yashasvi Jaiswal (143) and Virat Kohli (36) in the middle. India has currently amassed 312/2 in 113 overs.
