Elon Musk likely to step down as Twitter CEO, hires new one

Twitter will soon be headed by a woman as Elon Musk has announced his new role within the company.

Nearly 6 months after buying Twitter and heading the company through some ground breaking but controversial phases, Musk has now confirmed that he will stepping down as Twitter CEO as he has found a new one. 

“Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks,” Musk wrote. 

He further revealed that he will continue as executing chair and CTO, ‘overseeing product, software and sysops.’

Meanwhile, reports have hinted that NCBUniversal executive Linda Yaccarino might succeed Musk as Twitter CEO.

Noatbly, Musk bought Twitter, last October for $44 billion and claimed that he will step down as Twitter CEO that day he will find a suitable person for the responsibility.
