Elephant Safari, Feeding Sugarcane: PM Modi’s Day Out At Kaziranga National Park
Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a significant journey spanning four states, commencing with a morning exploration of the scenic Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve.
His itinerary includes visits to Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, where he is scheduled to inaugurate a series of pivotal developmental projects.
Encouraging citizens to partake in the splendor of Kaziranga, Prime Minister Modi extended an invitation on social media, highlighting the enriching experience and the hospitable ambiance of Assam.
He also engaged in insightful discussions with the park’s forest guards, commending the valor and commitment of the all-female forest guard unit, Van Durga, for their unwavering dedication to conservation.
In a gesture of admiration for the wildlife, Modi was captured feeding sugarcane to the elephants residing in the park.
Additionally, the Prime Minister is slated to unveil an impressive 84-foot-tall statue honoring Lachit Borphukan, a revered figure from the Ahom Kingdom, emphasizing the BJP’s reverence for regional icons.
During his visit, Modi will also lay the foundation stones for a range of critical projects encompassing healthcare, housing, energy, and infrastructure, with a significant investment totaling Rs 18,000 crore.
