Delhi Man Electrocuted While Running On Treadmill; Family Alleges Negligence

A man in Delhi lost his life after being electrocuted while running on treadmill at a gym in north Delhi’s Rohini on Tuesday. As per reports, police have arrested them gym owned on charges of caused by negligence.

Identified as Saksham, a resident of Sector 19 in Rohini, used to exercise at the Gymplex Fitness Zone in Rohini’s Sector 15.

The incident took place on Tuesday at around 7:30 AM when Saksham was using the trademill at the gym. As reported by the India Today, after the workout Saksham sat down to rest but soon collapsed.

Cause of death:

Saksham was immediately rushed to hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead. After the postmortem report, the police confirmed electrocution as the cause of death.

Family alleges negligence:

Meanwhile, Saksham’s mother said that the incident happened due to the negligence of the gym owner. “He ate an apple and left for the gym at 6 AM. Later, we received a call informing us about the incident. I want justice for my son,” she said.
