LIVE UPDATES: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor excise policy scam.
In a significant development earlier today, the Delhi High Court declined to provide any interim protection from coercive measures to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief. Kejriwal’s arrest reportedly falls under the purview of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.
Approximately two hours subsequent to the High Court’s decision, a team of ED officials arrived at the residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for interrogation, amidst a protest staged by AAP workers outside his house.

Delhi Minister Atishi has revealed that an urgent hearing has been sought from the Supreme Court tonight, following the arrest of CM Kejriwal.
Moments before his apprehension, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had petitioned the Supreme Court for an immediate hearing to contest the Delhi HC order. While the top court was initially expected to convene on Friday morning, Atishi has now indicated a request for an urgent hearing “tonight itself.”
