China’s Army Has Entered The Area, Taken Away Our Land: Rahul Gandhi

Ladakh: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has hit back at the Prime Minister of India over China’s alleged intrusion in Ladakh by reiterating that ‘China has taken away people’s land in the area.’

During his maiden visit since Government of India bifurcated Ladakh into Union Territory, Rahul Gandhi said;

“Here, the concern is, of course, China has taken away the land. People have said that China’s Army has entered the area and their grazing land was taken away but PM said that not an inch of land was taken away, but this is not true, you can ask anyone here.”

यहां लोग बता रहे हैं कि चीन की सेना हमारी जमीन पर घुसी है। लोगों ने बताया कि पहले जो जमीन चारागाह के लिए इस्तेमाल होती थी, अब वहां जा नहीं सकते हैं।

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा- एक इंच जमीन नहीं गई, वो सच नहीं है। लद्दाख में आप किसी से पूछ लीजिए, वो ये बात बता देंगे।

The Congress leader also said that there are many complaints in Ladakh. “People are saying that the state should not be run through bureaucracy. There should be representation of the people, the state should be run by the voice of the people,” he said.

लद्दाख में काफी शिकायतें हैं। लोग कह रहे हैं कि स्टेट को ब्यूरोक्रेसी के माध्यम से नहीं चलाना चाहिए। जनता का प्रतिनिधित्व होना चाहिए, जनता की आवाज़ से स्टेट चलना चाहिए।

The Waynad MP also offered floral tribute to his late father and former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi over his birth anniversary from the banks of Pangong Tso in Ladakh.
