Chandrayaan-3 Likely To Launch In Mid-July: ISRO Chief
New Delhi: The chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Sunday confirmed that the launch of Chandrayaan-3 will take place in mid-July.
“Currently, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is fully integrated. We have completed the testing…the window of opportunity for launch is in between July 12-19. We will announce the exact date after all the tests are completed,” ISRO Chief was quoted by Times of India.
Chandrayaan-3 will be launched by the Launch Vehicle Mark-III from the Statish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
The propulsion module will carry the lander and roger configuration till 100 km lunar orbit. It has a Spector-Polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth payload to study the spectral and polarimetric measurements of Earth from the lunar orbit.
