CBFC Directs Removal of Intimate Scenes In Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’: Report
ENTERTAINMENT: Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film, “Animal,” has received approval from the Censor Board, albeit with a few modifications.
The Central Board of Film Certification has granted the film an Adults Only (A) certificate and has requested director Sandeep Reddy Vanga to implement five changes.
One of the adjustments involves reducing the duration of intimate scenes. The leaked certificate, as reported by News18, mentions, “Modified the intimate visuals of Vijay and Zoya by deleting the close-up shots at TCR 02:28:37.”

Additionally, the board has instructed the replacement of the Hindi word “vastra” with “costume.” The film features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, “Animal” marks his second Bollywood film after “Kabir Singh.” Initially slated for an August release, the film was postponed to avoid clashes with other big releases like Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2,” Akshay Kumar’s “OMG2,” and Rajinikanth’s “Jailer.”
“Animal” is now scheduled to hit the screens on December 1.
