Breaking: Karim Benzema joins Al-Ittihad on 3-year contract

Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema has finally officially joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad as a free agent. The Frenchman has recently brought an end to his long celebrated associated at Real Madrid.

Notably, Al-Ittihad is currently the champion of Saudi Pro League 2022-23 season. As per reports, Benzema’s current contract with Al-Ittihad will run until the end of the 2025-26 season. The Frenchman will reportedly earn around €200 million per year.

With that development, Karim Benzema will now face his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al-Nassr – finished second in SPL.
