After making surprise appearances at Cannes and Grammy awards in 2022, Ukraine’s president Voldomyr Zelensky is likely to appear at Golden Globe 2023, with a ‘peace’ message.

According to reports, Hollywood’s prestigious gathering will feature an appearance by Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, who will deliver a ‘special message of peace.’

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association confirmed the development and stated that Mr. Zelensky will appear at the marquee event, but didn’t reveal if the Ukrainian president will appear in person or will he address via a video message. Reportedly, actor Sean Penn will be on hand to introduce Zelensky during the live telecast.

Zelensky is popularly close to a couple of Hollywood celebrities as Sean Penn is regarded closest to Ukraine President. Meanwhile, other stars like Jessica Chastain, Ben Stiller and Liev Schreiber have also joined the list.

Mr. Zelensky also featured on the cover page of the Time Magazine, along with “the spirit of Ukraine.” Notably, the award is bestowed to the most influential on global events over the past 12 months.
