Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays his own medical bills, no taxpayer’s money used: RTI

A fresh RTI finding has revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays his own medical expenses and not a single penny has been spent from the prime minister’s office. An RTI application filed by Pune-based activist and businessman, Prafful Sarrda, PMO has revealed that Mr. Modi is paying all his medical bills, by himself.

The Prime Minister’s Office Secretary, Praveen Kumar stated that as per records available with this office, ‘no expenditure has been incurred on the personal medical treatment of the PM, Shri Narendra Modi.’

“NO expenditure has been incurred from 2014 till date in India and abroad,” the RTI report in access with The Quote read. While speaking to The Quotes, Mr. Sarda said that the prime minister has set an example, which will eventually inspire crores of Indians.

“The findings have made it clear that the prime minister pays his own medical bills. Other MPs and MLAs should follow the same,” Mr. Sarrda added.
