NEW DELHI – The BJP-led NDA government is set to implement the ‘One Nation, One Election’ reform within its current term, according to government sources.
The initiative, aimed at streamlining the election process by holding simultaneous elections for the Lok Sabha and state assemblies, is expected to gain support from various political parties.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA government completes 100 days of its third term, insiders highlight the alliance’s strong cohesion, which is expected to endure throughout the rest of its tenure.
“It will definitely be implemented during this tenure. It will become a reality,” a source confirmed, while remaining anonymous.
