Wells Fargo fires man accused of urinating on woman in NY-Delhi flight

A man from Mumbai, who is allegedly accused of urinating on a middle aged woman while onboard New York-Delhi flight, has been sacked by his company.

Wells Fargo – the company where Shankar Mishra (alleged accused) was employed – release a statement stating allegations on Mishra as ‘deeply disturbing’ and assured company will ‘cooperate with the investigating agencies.’

The 34-year-old was working as a vice-president of the Indian chapter of the American multinational financial services firm, headquartered in California, PTI reported.

“Wells Fargo holds employees to the highest standards of professional and personal behaviour and we find these allegations deeply disturbing. This individual has been terminated from Wells Fargo,” read company’s statement.

Reportedly alleged accused has been on run and look out notice and airports have been put on alert.

Notably, Shankar Mishara allegedly unzipped his pants and urinated on a woman in the business class. According to the victim, Mr. Mishra also begged the woman not to report him to the police, saying it would impact his wife and child.
