Rahul Gandhi Vows Financial And Institutional Survey To Assess Wealth Distribution
TELANGANA: During a public rally in Karnataka, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi announced his party’s intention to conduct a meticulous financial and institutional survey aimed at analyzing the distribution of wealth among the populace.
This initiative, as articulated by Gandhi, forms a significant part of the party’s agenda outlined in their manifesto release.
Gandhi emphasized that alongside the nationwide caste census promised by the Congress, this financial and institutional survey would provide crucial insights into socioeconomic disparities.
He reiterated the party’s commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of various demographic groups, including Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and minorities.
“We will fist conduct a nationwide caste census to determine how many people belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs) and minorities). After that, we will conduct a financial and institutional survey in a historic step to ascertain the distribution of wealth,” Rahul Gandhi said.
The release of the Congress manifesto, with its focus on the five ‘Pillars of Justice,’ underscores the party’s dedication to social equity and inclusivity.
Emphasizing the importance of a caste census and other measures aimed at empowering OBC representatives, the manifesto represents a comprehensive approach to addressing systemic inequalities in the country.
