Ranbir Kapoor To Undergo Vocal Transformation For Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana
MUMBAI: Pre-production for the highly anticipated Ramayana film by Nitesh Tiwari is underway, with lead actor Ranbir Kapoor undergoing special vocal training for his portrayal of Lord Ram.
Director Tiwari seeks a distinct voice for Ram, differing from Kapoor’s usual baritone and iconic delivery.
According to India Today, a source revealed, “Nitesh wants Ranbir to sound different from his past roles. He’s enjoying this new challenge, and a dedicated diction and dialogue team is working closely with the actors.”
Reports suggest Tiwari has even assigned Kapoor a personal diction expert to ensure his dialogue aligns with the vision.
Costumes are also receiving special attention, and sources claim Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are being considered for the roles of Hanuman and Kumbakaran, respectively. Sai Pallavi and Yash will portray Sita and Ravan, respectively.
