Fit for election campaign in Gujarat? Cricket fans doubt Ravindra Jadeja’s injury amid reports of missing Bangaldesh tour

Twitter has had a field day ever since reports of India’s prolific allrounder Ravindra Jadeja set to miss the upcoming Bangladesh tour due to injury concerns.

According to reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India is likely to name Suryakumar Yadav as a replacement for the allrounder in the squad. Notably, Jadeja has been missing competitive cricket due to an injury since the Asia Cup 2022 and has not recovered till now.

The 33-year-old was a conditional inclusion in ODIs and Test squads for the Bangladesh tour, including three ODIs and two Tests. While announcing the team for the Bangladesh tour, the BCCI stated that Jadeja’s participation in Bangladesh tour is subject to fitness.

Meanwhile, Indian cricket fans noticed that the Indian allrounder is continuously appearing for his wife, who is currently contesting an assembly election in Gujarat.

Several Twitter users expressed their disappointment with the Indian cricketer and raised doubts over his injury, citing his constant appearance for his wife during the election campaign.
