WPL 2024 Auction: 164 Player To Go Under Hammer On December 9- Check Details
Ahead of the WPL 2024 auction on December 9, 165 cricketers from around the world have signed up. The players are from 15 countries and are divided into three categories: capped, uncapped, and associate. Capped players, who have played international cricket, have a minimum base price of ₹30 lakh, while uncapped and associate players start at ₹10 lakh.
Notable Indian players like Veda Krishnamurthy, Punam Raut, and Meghna Singh are part of the auction. International stars like Chamari Athapaththu, Deandra Dottin, and Shabnim Ismail are also in the mix.
The five teams have already kept 60 players (39 Indian and 21 overseas), leaving room for only 30 players to be bought (21 Indian and 9 overseas) from the 165 in the auction. It’s going to be a competitive battle for these limited spots.
