After completing successful Test series in West Indies, Indian speedster Md. Siraj has returned to India in order to maintain his workload management.

As reported, BCCI is not willing to burden Siraj with too much games ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup due to which he flew back with R Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, KS Bharat and Navdeep Saini after India’s 1-0 series win.

With the development Siraj will not take part in three-match ODI series Ind vs Wi , starting from July 27 in Barbados. Siraj will be key aspect for Men in Blue in Asia Cup 2023 as well and management wants to not risk his participation in two major tournaments in the year.

Md. Siraj in Ind vs WI:

Siraj picked up seven wickets in the two Tests, including five-for in the 1st innings of 2nd Test. Prior to this tour, Siraj was also part of the World Test Championship final at the Oval, where he picked five wickets, including four-for in the 1st innings.
