NCA Chief VVS Laxman To Coach Team India During Asian Games 2022 In Hangzhou: Report
Cricket: With the Asian Games 2022 schedule set to collide with ODI World Cup 2023, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is likely to field VVS Laxman as the head coach of Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side for the continental tournament.
BCCI is sending its B team for the Asian Games in Hangzhou as the main squad will play ODI World Cup 2023 in India. As head coach Rahul Dravid and his coaching staff will accompany Rohit Sharma-led squad during World Cup in India, VVS Laxman will tour Hangzhou with Ruturaj’s team.
VVS Laxman Will Travel Ireland For 3-T20Is
Rahul Dravid along with Vikram Rathor (batting coach), bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and fielding coach T Dilip is expected to get a break after multi-format West Indies tour, and VVS Laxman-led coaching staff will travel Ireland for the 3-T20 internationals.
After two Tests, Team India and West Indies will play 3-ODIs and 5-T20Is.
