J&K Govt Terminates Three Government Employees For ‘Being Threat To Security’

Jammu And Kashmir: For being ‘threat to the security of the state’ the Jammu and Kashmir government has terminated the services of three government employees.

The employees faced the wrath under Article 311 (2)(C) of the Constitution which allows the government to terminate an employee without conducting an inquiry.

What’s the matter?

Source based reports have suggested that Public Relations Officer of the Kashmir University Faheem Ashraf, Revenue Officer Murawat Hussain Mir and police officer Arshad Ahmad Thoker were terminated from their positions on Monday.

Alleged role with Pak-based terror outfits:

According to senior journalist Aditya Raj Kaul, Faheem Ashraf is a diehard secessionist who endorses the secessionist ideology, but has been a key propagandist for terrorist and terror outfits in Kashmir valley. Reportedly, he was planted as a media reporter by the University to keep the secessionist-campaign alive.

Not the first termination:

As reported by The Indian Express, in last one and a half years, the J&K government has terminated the services of around 52 employees for being a ‘threat’ to the security of the state.
