Delhi Man Stabs Son Over Delay in Downloading Mobile App – Details Inside

New Delhi: A man stabbed his 23-year-old son in Delhi’s Madhu Vihar after latter intervened in a fight between the accused and his wife over downloading a mobile app.

Identified as Ashok Singh, 64, retired senior manager from Engineers India Limited – used to live with his wife and son Aditya Singh in IP Extension.

Aditya is also an engineer in Gurugram.

Police has informed that Ashok had recently purchased a flat in Gurugram and in order to make the payment, he had asked his wife to download a mobile app in her phone.

According to police, Ashok got angry when the app took time to download and started arguing with his wife. When Aditya intervened, Ashok stabbed him on his chest with a kitchen knife.

Aditya was reportedly taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital and was discharged after treatment.

A case under section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the Indian Penal Cide is regathers against Ashok.
